Today, my sister told me that she often has people approach her at school saying things like “I heard your sister is gay. This is just a suggestion to anyone who has watched ignorance hurt someone and said nothing. Next time you encounter somebody acting like an ass and think it won’t make any difference if you keep quiet, ask yourself: Are you as brave as my baby sister?
